Pasyura I. Сlinical and pathogenetic substantiation of ozone therapy applied in complex treatment of the patients with discirculatory atherosclerotic encephalopathy

The dissertation is devoted to clinical and pathogenetic substantiation of ozone therapy used at the patients with І and ІІ degree discyrculatory encephalopathy of atherosclerotic genesis based on the comparative study of the influence treatment with pharmaceuticals alone and in combination with intravenous infusions of the ozonized NaCl physiological solution (OPS) on clinical and neurological pattern, activity of lipid peroxidation, antioxidative enzymes, proinflammatory cytokin tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-a), serum lipide spectrum, and cerebral hemodynamics. It was established that OPS additionally to the treatment with pharmaceuticals improves a clinical neurological status of the patients and cerebral hemodynamic indices, due to the raised activity of the basic antioxidative enzymes decreases the contents of lipid peroxidation products, reduces the serum atherogenicity coefficient and TNF-a contents.
