Kirichenko A. Comparative hygienic evaluation of application of the different formulations on the basis of metalaxyl-M on agricultural crops

. In this work toxicological and hygienic properties of new high-effective, low-toxic fungicides on the basis of methalaxyl-M have been studied. This allow to reduce negative impact of these formulations under their practical application on health of operators and population in the whole, and to decrease pesticide load on the objects of environment. For the first time, comparative hygienic evaluation of behavior of metalaxyl and its R-stereoisomer metalaxyl-M in the environmental objects has been carried out. Hygienic norms of metalaxyl-M contents in water of water reservoirs, soil, air of working zone and atmospheric air, and also regulations for safe application of the formulations on the basis of metalaxyl-M for agricultural crops treatment have been substantiated scientifically. Study of working conditions under different methods of application of the formulations on the basis of metalaxyl-M has been carried out, and value of potential complex risk of metalaxyl-M adverse effect for operators has been estimated. Analytical methods for metalaxyl-M determination in air of working zone, atmospheric air, water, soil and agricultural products have been developed.
