Object of research is fine retail enterprises that have steady location in space. Aim of reseach is to develop recommendations on improvement of functional, planning and space and volume solutions for fine retail enterprises. Methods of research are comparable analysis of home and foreign experience in designing, construction and use of projects; systematization of scentific research results, literature and information scurces; investigation of realities; method of diagrams analysis and modelling in volume of functional, planning and architectural construction solutions; experimental desighing. Scientific novelty of received results lies in the fast that for the first time the problems of fine retail projects formation were considered in complex; new types of commercial groups and complexes on the basis of fine retail enterprises were developed; the principles of fine retail enterprises complex formation were defined; block moduled method for designing of fine retail complexes was suggested. Practicalmeaning of the received results consists in their use in the practice of designing and construction and in scientific research works, in working out state standards and basic norms, in teaching process at architectural educational institutions.
