Object - process of the critical thinking shaping of higher educational institutions students; aim - theoretical basis of the ways of critical thinking shaping with the usage of informative technologies and experimental checking of their application in teaching for rising of shaped level of informative-gnostic, control-reflexive and research skills of the students; the methods are theoretical analysis and synthesis, mathematical and statistical methods; novelty - methods of the critical thinking shaping with the usage of informative technologies on the basis of determined peculiarities of these technologies have been grounded for the first time; results - components of critical thinking have been determined, criterions and indices of levels in shaping of informative-gnostic, control-reflexive and research skills of students' critical thinking have been worked out; complex of cognitive tasks for organization of students' scholastic-cognitive activities with the usage of informative technologies has beenworked out; branch - pedagogical practice of higher educational institutions.
