Essay

The work presents the results of surgical treatment of 137 patients with intestinal obstruction. The main cause of lethality was suture anastomosis failure. The new techniques of definition of intestinal vitality and borders of its resection was put into clinical practice. It allowed to improve the results of surgical treatment of patients with acute intestinal obstruction and prevent suture anastomosis failure in postoperative period.
