Essay

Object: The creation of high productive agrocoenoses of sunflower. Aim: to ground expediency for gronirg hybrids of sunflower with conventional row-sowing method in the Ukrainian Eastern Forest-Steppe. Methods: field, labora-tory, math-statistical. Novelty: There has been studied the effect of sowing rates on quantitative and qualitative indices of suflower hybrid yield at the conventional row-sowing method, there have been established the peculiarities in plant growth and developinent, the formation of photosynthetic characteristics in the sowings, water-and mineral elenents' consumption. Result: The have been improved some gro-wing technologies of sunflower hybrids, which belong to different groups of naturity. Application stage: there have been conducted production test at two farms of Kharkov and Donetsk Oblasts with a resulting economic effect of 173-210 grns/ha. Application area: AIC of Ukraine
