Kovaleva N. Structural, Logico-Semantic and Functional Types of Concessive Sentences in the Modern Scientific Language.

Objects are the miscellaneous structural - semantic types of a concessive sentence. The aim is to definite of structural, logical-semantic and functional types of a concessive sentence with go-devil tracing of their status in the scientific language. Methods - intrasystem, functional and formal - grammar description of linguistic units, component analysis, transformation analysis of structural - semantic organization of the sentence and analogies, methods of quantitative - statistical inventories, general scientific methods, logical-semantic analysis of the sentence. The thesis is devoted to the investigation of the semantico-syntactical structures of concessivity, to the description of their regularity / irregularity, systemity (non-systemity). There has been carried out the investigation of structural, logico-semantic and functional peculiarities of these formations. Their relationship with the same and another formations at a simultaneous complex study of the theoretical and functional peculiaritiesof the Ukrainian scientific language has been revealed. For the first time semantic structure of a concessive sentence together with a judgement given in it, a set of the semantic components, a tendency and the types of semantic relations among them have been fully described for the Ukrainian language.
