The dissertation is dedicated to ascertainment of soil transformation while building and exploitation of trunk pipelines, determination of qualitative and quantitative indicators of technogenic soil transformation, improvement of methods of exploring and monitoring of technogenically damaged soils in critical condition. The characteristics of technogenically undamaged and technogenically modified soils and technical soils are studied; the degree of technogenic soil transformation is estimated.
