The research work provides ascientifically grounded and experimentally tested system of developing senior pupils' stylistic skills habits which embraces specified contents and amount of educational according to the current curriculum in mother tongue, methods of teaching stylistics as well kinds of praktical exercises and tasks. Putting into praktice the worked out methods of developing senior pupils' stylistic skills and habits positiveri contributed to schoolchildren's speech development.
