Essay

The volume-regulated chloride current was investigated in human prostate cancer cells. We have revealed that neuroendocrine differentiation caused significant current potentiation and acceleration of its kinetics. We have made up some conclusions about the molecular structure of volume-regulated anion channel and possible mechanisms of alterations in its pharmacology and regulation in the case of neuroendocrine differentiation.
