Essay

The thesis deals with the problem of university education in the USA, namely with the problem of educating Bachelors of Arts whose major is a foreign language. The system of their education has been analyzed in its historical development from the pedagogical point of view. Its structure has been defined and the mechanism of its functioning has been researched as well as pedagogical conditions of its components' realization into practice of educational process at the Ukrainian higher educational institutions. The technology of the components' of the above mentioned system realization into practice at the Ukrainian higher educational institutions has been developed and its effectiveness has been proved. The results of the experiment have confirmed the hypothesis of the thesis that has been proved by the growth of professional skills of bachelors-philologists
