Myshkov Y. Methodology of Investigating Bribery

Dissertation is devoted to the study of the methodology for investigating bribery, its criminalist characteristics, planning and organizing the investigation. The paper focuses on the analysis of the criminalist characteristics of bribery as a system of elements that determine the direction of the investigation their interaction, condition the identification of the offender as well as ways to commit and conceal a crime. In this respect the author looks at the ways to commit bribery in newly-shaped management and bank institutions. The dissertation pays attention to the tactics of the initial investigative actions that allow to acquire the most complete information as to the fact of the crime. The paper analysis the process of planning and organizing the investigation of bribery, where the author mostly studies the process of creating investigative versions and their dependence on typical situations. He also looks at the coordination between investigative and operative activities for the investigation of bribery, various types of cooperation and shows their advantages. During the study the author identified tactics for the following investigative actions for bribery, here belong, search, interrogation of the accused, ordering and conducting forensic examinations. The paper closely looks at tactics of interrogation depending on the position of the prosecution.
