The complex analysis of elliptic monopredicative structures represented in mass media, which gave the possibility to reveal peculiarities and tendencies of the development of the language of modern publicist. Structural and semantic peculiarities of incomplete sentences of various types are analyzed and their functionally stylistic means are described in the work.
