Process of development of economic activity of the industrial enterprises in view of a social factor. The theoretical generalization and methodological substantiation of social and economic bases of economic activity at the industrial enterprises of machine-building area of Ukraine and development of the methodical approaches concerning formation of the social and economic mechanism of its development, which realization will assist maintenance of competitiveness of the managing subjects. Methods of research: the analysis and synthesis, statistical methods, factoring and tendering analysis, grouping, comparison and expert estimations, economic-mathematical modeling. The theoretical rules and practical recommendations for formation of the socio economic mechanism of development of economic activity of the industrial enterprises in conditions of transformation of economy are developed on the basis of activization of the human factor. Is proved, that the activization innovation of activity depends on increase of quality of labour life of the personnel, which is a complex parameter of management of human resources of the enterprise. The methodical recommendations for organization of strategic audit as means of realization of strategy of increase of quality of labour life of the personnel are advanced. The system of the factors of increase of quality of labour life of the personnel is determined, and also the model of formation and estimation of system of increase of quality of labour life of the personnel of group of the enterprises of mechanical engineering of Donetsk area is developed. Sphere of use are the industrial enterprises of machine-building area; higher educational institutions.
