Essay

The purpose of the present work is the development of new operative techniques, aimed at the preservation or restoration of pyloric function in the patients with a bleeding ulcer. The rate of postoperative complications related to impared motor function of pylorus, stomach and duodenum was decreased: the ulcer reccurence, dumping syndrome, duodeno gastral reflux, diarrhea, reflux - gastritis by 2-3 times. The positive results of treatment after pylorus - preserving and pylorus - reconstracting operations with selective proximal vagotomy were obtained in 91,1% of patients
