Plahotnaya N. The principles for the formation architectural of orthodox parish Churches in south-west region Ukraine.

Based upon analysis of historical preconditions for rise and formations for the world's Christian churches building the main factors and features of architectural and planning structure of orthodox churches in Russ-Ukraine have been examined and determined in the proposed dissertation. The author has outlined the main tendencies in modern development of Ukrainian Orthodox Church building. The regularities of successive development in church building and main principles for formation of architectural and compositional structures have been additionally investigated during the research. As a result a number of grounded scientific provisions and recommendations has been made in order to widen and enrich architectural and typological fundamentals for designing of orthodox churches. Canonically justified typological range of churches has been provided as well as methodology for capacity calculation of orthodox parish churches has been developed for the modern designing purposes. The proposed scientific researches have been tested by means of experimental architectural designing and implemented in the modern applied civil engineering.
