Essay

The dissertation deals with the problems of the influence of the type of inflammatory response on bronchial stump healing after pulmonectomy. It was established the presence of close connection between the peculiarities of bronchial stump healing after pneumonectomy and types of inflammatory response of the organism, which are characterized by changes of lipid peroxidation and antioxidant system activity, interaction between destructive and reparative processes, activation of proteolytic system and changes of a blood supply of the stump. Adequate, balanced in time and degree changes of humoral and immune systems, which form normoreactive inflammatory response, provide development of adaptation and requirements for a uncomplicated bronchial stump healing after a pneumonectomy.
