The dissertation is an integrated scientific research of problems of investigation and prevention of kidnapping committed with lucrative impulse. The work contains set of theoretical states and practical recommendations, formulated subject to peculiarities of subject of crime, investigative and preventive practice. Author worked out criminalistical characteristic of kidnapping committed with lucrative impulse, particularly kidnapping victims was classified and their typical social and psychological patterns were analyzed.
