The dissertation pertains to the investigation of lexical and syntactic reiteration as a stylistic devise in Ukrainian folk tails. An attempt has been made to investigate the specificity of reiteration in the genre of folk retelling through the prizm of cultural peculiarities of Ukrainian tale. Reiteration is characterized as linguistic phenomena in detail: as a lexical syntactic and phraseological unit which serves grammatical stylistic and textual functions.
