Essay

The object -host-pathogen interaction. The aim - analysis of C. sativus and Р.teres populations in the North-Eastern Forest-Steppe and search for the sources of resistance. The methods - taxonomic, laboratory, field, statistics. The novelty - there has been determined a local spread of C. sativus populations, high (C. sativus) and average (Р.teres) virulence in production fields; an antagonistic affect of C. sativus and Р.teres fungi in vitro and in vivo. It has been shown an importance of Agropyron repens in P. teres pathogenesis. The results - there has been improved the analysis of C. sativus and Р.teres populations; there have been distinguished the sources of resistance to this pathogens. The field of knowledge - agriculture, selective breeding, plant protection.
