Abo G. Ways of Optimization of Local Treatment of Acute Purulence of Pilonidal Sinus.

The dissertation contains the proved diagnostic and clinical value of the accelerated method of determining the wound microflora sensitivity to modern antibacterial preparations, which provides the differentiated approach to a choice of a preparation for local treatment of wounds of the patients with the acute abscess of pilonidal sinus. The comparative estimation standard and developed method of two-stage surgical treatment the acute abscess of pilonidal sinus is carried out. On the basis of the carried out researches is proved, that the application of the modified technology of radical operation has ensured healing a wound with a primary tension, the periods of treatment and temporary invalidity of the patients were reduced. The research substantiated the provision that the two-stage technique of surgical treatment of patients with acute purulence of pilonidal sinus presently is standardized and better treatment results are due to improvement of stage I of post-operation local treatment of thepurulent wound taking into account a nature of infectious agent and modified implementation of the second stage of radical treatment. It has proved the advantage of two-stage treatment of patients with acute purulence of pilonidal sinus as regards improvement of current and long-term results of treatment.
