Essay

The objects of researches were fruits of a tomato of various genotypes. The purpose of researches was studying questions of the maximal prolongation of the period of storage of fruits of a tomato during the autumn period including: revealing most keeping properties grades and hybrids of a tomato; studying of dynamics of chemical changes in fruits at storage and store maturation. Methods of researches: general scientific, laboratory, statistical. Work covers results of researches concerning revealing influence of genetic features of a grade, temperature conditions and maturities on safety of fruits. It is experimentally proved, that storage of fresh fruits of a tomato of various genotypes in conditions optimum and genotypes with genes "keeping ability" in conditions of not settled temperature allows to prolong the period of their consumption for 1,5-2,5 months. It is established, that at storage of green fruits of a tomato nutritional value of them raised in connection with ripening, is especial at ripening on a plant. The main research results are applied in industry. Sphere - storage and vegetable growing.
