Object: architectural environment of the city of Tyre. Objective: the development of principal conceptual and scientifically grounded recommendations on saving and regeneration of historical and architectural complex of the city of Tyre; methods: system and environmental methods of the analysis of the object of research, complex analysis of historical sources; comparative analysis of historical and perspective general plans of the city of Tyre; method of monitoring, in the framework of which there is a review of the natural condition of the municipal environment with photofixation; novelty: the integral historical and genetic hierarchy of building of the city of Tyre has been presented and systematized; theoretical provisions for the townplanning activity on saving and regeneration of the city of Tyre has been formed; outcomes: scientific research of principles of the architectural organization of Tyre has been conducted; projects for residential areas of the Tyre peninsula have been developed with thepurpose of its radical reconstruction; new architectural sites for the historical districts to be reconstructed have been developed; sphere: theory, history of architecture, restoration of architectural monuments.
