The object is the financial resources of the local government and their main constituent - local budgets. The objective is the scientific and theoretical justification of the ideas connected with the improvement of the finance administration system of the local budgets on the level of the local government. The methods are systematic approach, comparative and economic analysis, comparative, synthesis, problem solving. The newness is that the mechanism of the local government financial development has been suggested; the criteria of the efficiency assessment of the finance administration system of the local budgets on the level of the local government have been scientifically proved.
