The dissertation is devoted to studying influences of the chronic prenatal stress on the functional state endocrine part of the pancreas in different periods of postnatal ontogenesis in male and female rats. It was found that prenatal stress results in the considerable increase in of B-cell mass and hormones concentration in them, and elevation of A-cell mass and pancreatic islets density on 1 mm2 of pancreatic section, and increase in specific contents of insulin and glucagon in newborn and adult rats pancreas. There were received new data of genital dimorphism of pancreas established endocrine functions in prenatal stressild animals, which were charactized increased number of B- and A-cells and increased specific contents of insulin and glucagon in adult female rats pancreas.. It was noted, that prenatal stress leads to glucose tolerance test disorder and to decrease in resistance of pancreatic B-cells to B-cytotoxic factor of streptozotocin effects.
