Object of the study: pre-eclampsia of pregnancy. Purpose of the study: To establish and to substantiate the interre-lation between activation of the processes of protein peroxidation, formation of medium-molecule peptides and modified form of al-bumin and the degree of late gestosis severity; optimization of pre-eclampsia diagnosis on an early pre-clinical stage. Methods of the study: Modern clinical, biochemical, instrumental and statistical methods, cardiotocography, Doppler and ultrasound diagnosis. Practical significance: New pathogenetic links of pre-eclampsia were revealed, a method of early differential diagnosis of gestosis severity in the 2nd part of pregnancy was worked out. The reference indices of oxide protein modification, the level of medium-molecule lipids and modified forms of albumin in pre-eclampsia of various severity which can be used in clinical practice for early diag-nosis and determining the degree of gestosis as well as differential diagnosis of physiological and pathologicaledemas, efficacy of the administered treatment as well as solving the question about the possibility of pregnancy prolongation were worked out. Introduction of the described measures to the clinical practice allowed to reveal pre-eclampsia at early stage, to take preventive measures and reduce the incidence of severe pre-eclampsia. Novelty of the obtained results: For the first time, increase in oxide modification processes, amount of medium-molecule peptides in the blood serum as well as modified albumin forms were revealed in pregnant. The role of disturbances of protein structure in the pathogenesis of this complication was established. It was proven that activation of these processes depended on preeclampsia severity. The study of protein oxidation mechanisms, formation of medium-molecule peptides and modified forms of albumin allowed to suggest deep irreversible changes in the protein structure and, as a result, its functional incapability in severe preeclampsia. A complex of measures on early pre-eclampsia diagnosis, differential diagnosis of edemas and pre-eclampsia was worked out. Introduction: The findings of the research were introduced into practice of maternity hospital of Simferopol, maternity department of Belogorsk, Krasnogvardeisk, Simferopol district hospitals, Center for Protection of Health of Mother and Child (Simferopol). Patent " Method of diagnosis of pre-eclampsia in pregnant" was obtained. Sphere of application: medicine, obstetrics and gynecology.
