Kulakevych L. Conception of world and human within it in S. Jovenko's literary creativity.

The objects are lyrics, prose and critical articles by S. Jovenko. The aim is to finding out artistic features of conception of world and human within it in S. Jovenko's creation. The methods are the systems analysis, culturological, philological, comparative, structural. Basing on the analysis of the writer's poetry, prose and criticsism, it is determined her artistic and esthetic position, and explained the sources of her understanding of world and human. It is established the peculiarity of their interpretation by S. Jovenko in wide historical and literary context. This gives an opportunity to determine artistic evolution of the writer. In the dissertation it is stated that artistic conception of world and human within it is non-homogeneous in the writer's poetry and prose. The writer evolves from a human-creator, human-victor idea to the idea of human's powerlessness. Thinking over purpose and sense of human's existence, she comes to a conclusion that human may change only himself, not world aroundhim. Non-adequate of artistic incarnation in different periods of her creative is determined by the development of philosophical and esthetical writer's positions and by social, economical and political conditions.
