The object is social relations that originate due to state duty collection; the purpose is to formulate theoretical conclusions concerning state duty collection and to make suggestions concerning improvement of national financial legislation on the basis of taking into account achievements of financial and legal science, summarizing domestic and foreign experience of legal regulation of state duty; methods – system, historical and legal, formal and dogmatic, comparative and legal, method of integral analysis, logic and semantic; novelty – it is one of the first special monographic investigation of theoretical principles and problems of legal regulation of the state duty in Ukraine; results – the materials of dissertation may be used in scientific-research sphere, lawmaking activity and educational process.
