Greb M. The semantic-grammatical factors of formation of the contrastive relation in complex constructions in the modern Ukrainian language

The object is complex syntactical constructions of the Ukrainian language with contrastive relation. The subject is the relation of contrast, factors of its formation and expression in the constructions of the modern Ukrainian language. The purpose is the exposure of the essence of contrastive relation as a peculiar component in the content of the complex sentences and the exposure of the factors of its formation in different kinds of complex constructions of the modern Ukrainian language. Methods - the analysis of components, descriptive, comparison, transformation. Novelty - for the first time in Ukrainian linguistics a systemic analysis of constructions with contrastive component of sense based on the deep factual material has been performed. The theoretical and practical results may be used for giving lectures, writing textbooks, educational supplies and methodical working outs on syntax of the Ukrainian language. The field of use - may be employed for study of syntax at high schools.
