Essay

The thesis is devoted to the substantiation and improvement of methods of pathogenetical treatment of sebaceous glands? diseases in women in perimenopausal period on the basis of the research of the level of sexual and pituitary hormones, the severity of the course of climacteric syndrome, and morphological, and functional peculiarities of the skin. It was established the imbalance in the level of sexual steroid hormones in blood serum in women with sebaceous glands? diseases in perimenopausal period: relative hyperandrogenemia and relative hyperprogesteronemia were on a background of absolute hypoestrogenia (0.24±0.02 nmol/l) in patients with seborrhea and acne tarda; absolute hypoestrogenia and absolute hypoprogesteronemia (3.0±0.13 nmol/l) were in women with an excessive dry skin; the level of pituitary hormones (FSH, LH) in all patients was increased. It was found the connection menopausal metabolic disorders (osteopenia, osteoporosis), structural and functional disorders in derma associated absolute hypoestrogenia. Subclinical hypo- and hyperthyroidism were not determined as metabolic disorders of climacteric age in our patients. A new pathogenetical method of treatment of patients with sebaceous glands? diseases and climacteric syndrome in perimenopausal period by hormone replacement therapy (femoston) in shorter terms to reach the regression of clinical signs of seborrhea, acne tarda and excessive dry skin was worked out, substantiated and applied in practice.
