Kostenko L. Lexico-semantic and derivational structure of the Ukrainian terminology of gardening

Object - terminology of gardening. Methods - descriptive, comparable, comparative and methods of component and complex analysis are used for studying and testing. Theoretical value - the research will be instrumental in the subsequent study of terminology problems of other subsystems of language science, in making up criteria of notions' and their nominations' differentiation, to deepening the information about common directions of the specialized vocabulary's development, conformities to the law of its forming and functioning. Scientific novelty - the system of the professional vocabulary of gardening is first explored in structural-semantic and word-forming aspects. Practical value - the supervisions and conclusions laid out in the dissertation will be instrumental in organization of the modern terminology of gardening, its standardization and unification.
