Essay

The object of study - the culture as communicative Space. The aim - conceptualization problem of religious communication in European culture. Methods are comparative-historical, phenomenological method, comparative analyze, paradigmatical method and theological method. Theoretical results and their novelty- Up-to-date character of main ideas of communicative philosophy and religious communication is demonstrated from the point of view of their contents and ethical norms. It allowed to view Christianity as a source of basic European values. It is proved that religion is a communicative-paradigmatic model of culture, instead science is its paradigmatic-communicative model. Religious communication was specified through three different dimensions: trinital, vertical and horizontal. It was concluded that we can characterize the ecumenical movements by two main strategies: modern strategy of similarity and post-modern strategy of differentiation. The practical significance of the work is the possibility tocontinue further investigation of the problems of religious communication in the culture, elaboration of new academic courses for philosophical, religious and culturological series of disciplines.
