Essay

Thesis is dedicated to comparative analyses of status of parliamentarians of Ukraine and Georgia on the basis of acting Соnstitutions and laws of both countries.History of development of institute of parlamentarism is analyzed, also the definition and analyses of its structural elements are given. Author has tried to give a definition of meaning of Parliament, status of parliamentarian, rights and obligations, guarantees of deputy activity and constitutional law eligibility of people’s deputy. Classification of rights and obligations and guarantees of deputy activity are given. The suggestions of amendments to the current legislation of Ukraine and Georgia concerning status of parliamentarians were made.
