Essay

The processes of generation, forming and transportation of electron beam in magnetron gun is with cold secondary-emission cathode are under consideration. The subject of investigation is electron flow that moving in crossed non-stationary electrical and stationary magnetic fields. The self-consistent three-dimensional non-stationary mathematic model has been created. The spatial and temporal distributions of space charge characterizing dynamics of the electron beam in the magnetron gun have been obtained. These distributions help to explain the experimental results of generation electron beams in the non-stationary electric field.
