The dissertation is devoted to the research of the legal regulation of elections of deputies to the Verkhovna Rada of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. Characteristic features of constitutional and legal procedures for elections to autonomous formations are studied in this dissertation. The author's definitions of the electoral law, the elections to autonomous formations, principles of the electoral law in the course of elections to autonomous formations and the electoral system in the course of elections to autonomous formations are given. The dissertation studies the specific features of each stage of the electoral process in the course of elections of deputies to the Verkhovna Rada of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. The dissertation formulates the conceptual theoretical statement and gives practical recommendations concerning the improvement of the legislation on the election of deputies to the Verkhovna Rada of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. It also considers the issue of introduction of the electoral system that takes into account characteristics of the existing political and social relation in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
