Essay

The thesis highlights the research results on the processes of plant growth and development, yield forming and biochemical content change of different varieties of bulbs depending on fertilizer type under condition of constant potato growing on one place and short crop rotation. The separate influence of each of the factors and their complex influence on potato yield has been established. It has been proved that green fertilizers may alter manure. The use of siderite intermediate plants - oil radish, whete mustard and their mixture, and also winter rape, winter rye and their mixture provides average extra yield 16-20% higher compared to unfertilized plot. Green fertilizers plowed with mineral fertilizers N45P45K45 promote yield increase by 34-42% that corresponds to 40 t/ha manure level. Еnergetic and economic efficiency estimation of potato growing depending on the factors investigated is given.
