The dissertation describes the system of methodical work on onomastic material at the elementary school at the lessons of the native language according to the experimental and research program of educational-cognitive activity of junior schoolchildren developed by the author which includes structural components, conditions of development, pedagogical acts, kinds of educational-cognitive activities and their educational purpose. It researches the opportunities for educational-cognitive activity development through the contents of training and characterizes organizational forms and methods of educational process. The given research work defines the conditions of pedagogical stimulation of educational-cognitive activity of junior schoolchildren according to the really developed system of didactic material. It also determines the influence of onomastic material on the level of development of educational-cognitive activity and on the increase of productivity of junior schoolchildren training as a whole. Theresearch provides concrete material for the further improvement of educational process in an elementary school with the prospect of continuation of work in 5th-8th forms.
