Thesis deals with the problem of forming readiness of future music teachers to instrumental-performing activity. Concept “readiness to instrumental-performing activity” has been concreted and the theoretical aspects of its formation have been investigated. The pedagogical problems of forming students’ readiness to instrumental-performing activity have been analyzed and the criteria of forming the above mentioned readiness have been defined, the didactic model of forming instrumental-performing readiness has been developed, the method of its stage-by-stage introduction has been created and experimentally tested.
