Essay

For the first time it has been prepared a dissertation research where the author studies the ideas of I.A. Il'yin about law and state through the prism of his conception of legal conscience. Theses of dissertation connected with substantiation of the dominating role of legal conscience in consolidation of law and state and distinguishing ethic-normative approach to the legal conscience are of innovatory character. Such notions are defined: legal conscience through axiomatic roots distinguishing by the philosopher; the essence of law foreshortened his conception of legal conscience, the specifity, purpose and form of state are presented from the same point of view; the necessity of using I.A. Il'yin's legacy is grounded in the context of the development of the ideas of law and state in modern Ukraine.
