Kobal V. Methods of the development of cognitive interest in the learning process of Regional studies of Ukraine in the 5th - 8th forms of secondary school.

The said dissertation looks into the research of cognitive motivation on the part of junior school students ( 5 - 8 grades ). Sufficient attention was paid to the issue under study, the importance of school curriculum and course books in the course of development of students' motivation has been properly analyzed, the problem looked into has been well - outlined in the accumulated pedagogic experience of Transcarpathian region, peculiar methods and approaches in the for junior school students have been defined in terms of pedagogics and methods of teaching, the acquired knowledge and experience on study of native region has been generalized, the process of the development of junior school students' cognitive motivation at the lessons of History of Ukraine in modern Ukrainian school has been closely looked at in the dissertation. The conditions of teaching, teaching patterns, methods of the development of cognitive motivation on the part of junior school students ( 5th grade, 7 - 8th grades ) have beensuggested and tried in practice, the course of native area study in the 5th grade has been spotlighted in the thesis.
