Object of the study: compensation mechanisms and course of eczema. Purpose of the study: To substantiate the methods of diagnosis and differentiated correction of the sate of antioxidant-oxidant system and that of immune protection in patients with eczema us-ing endogenic interferon inductors. Methods of the investigation: Clinical (history taking, soma-totopographic, observation), clinical laboratory (immunological, T, B-, phagocyte link of IPS, biochemical, biophysical products of LP, enzyme link of AOP), clinical information analysis, etc. (variation, correlation analysis) Theoretical and practical results: Age- and sex-related and ecological etiological factors were studied, which allowed to distinguish the population groups and administrative districts of the region with increased levels of eczema incidence; the features of clinical topography were studied, standard "Chart for eczema clinical topography", which is significant for improving diagnosis, prognosis, check-up of children. An algorithmof prognosis of eczema with the consideration of accumulated incidence parame-ters was worked out. The use of CR clinical classification allowed to differentiate (with the consideration of immune correction targets) the use of endogenic interferon inductors. An improved method of eczema treatment was introduced, the efficacy of clinical use of Amizon was determined. Novelty: For the first time, the system of correlation interrelations between the incidence of eczema and age-sex related sand ecologo-etiological factors was determined. Methods of prognosis of eczema incidence and evaluation of population health in asso-ciation with eczema were determined. For the first time, the state of antioxidant/oxidant systems and that of specific immune protec-tion were considered in association, it was proven that compensa-tion reactions of these CS are similar and form in the sequence compensation - disbalance - decompensation. The results of CS study were used to suggest classification of clinical variants of CR, whose character depended on the duration of eczema course and determines the need of correction with Amizon. The methods of evaluation of the treatment efficacy (namely with endogenic in-terferon inductors) were developed. The efficacy of Amizon ad-ministration depended on the features of the targets of influence modulation, proper immunomodulating effect and increase in the functional adaptation of the compensation systems in eczema pat-entis. For the first time, the difference of the targets of immuno-modulation depending on the primary type of CR, duration of the disease as well as clinical efficacy of Amizon (at T-, B-, and phagocyte link level) and enzyme link of AOP were proven in ec-zema patients. Degree of introduction: The methods of prognosis of eczema in-cidence and "Chart for eczema clinical topography" were intro-duced in the work of Kharkiv Regional Clinical Hospital for Skin and Venereal Diseases. The method of eczema treatment using Amizon was introduced into clinical practice. The findings ofthe research are used in the teaching process at departments of skin and venereal diseases, pathological anatomy, microbiology, virol-ogy and immunology of Kharkiv State Medical University as well as departments of dermatology and venereology of Dnepropet-rovsk State Medical Academy, Ukrainian Dental Academy, Kharkiv Medical Academy for Post-graduate Training. Sphere of application: medicine, departments of skin and venereal diseases.
