Essay

The dissertation covers the results of development of technology of highly reliable thermoelectric Peltier modules (ТЕМ) based on Bi-Te-Se-Sb solid solutions. The strength parameters of TEM have been evaluated with their unilateral clamping. Technologies of homogeneous crystals of Bi-Te-Se-Sb solid solutions of diameter 28 - 38 mm have been developed, with mechanical breaking strengths =(2,4-2,5) Kgs/mm2, figures of merit Zp,n= (3,0- 3,2)·10-3 K-1 (Т=300 K) and yield ratio 69-75 %; electric connecting Cu layers on thermal junctions and Ni anti-diffusion layers on TEM legs. The TEM created on the basis of the above technologies have been tested for resistance to mechanical and environmental factors. 12000 hours of continuous operation and 3000 hours of cyclic operation have been achieved. Based on these ТЕМ, a series of devices and instruments have been created.
