Essay

The object - technological processes of combined detectors manufacturing detectors of alpha and beta particles, gamma photons, as well as low-energy X-ray photons. The goal – increasing of sensitivity of scintillation detectors of alpha and beta particles and gamma photons, as well as increasing of spatial resolution of low-energy X-ray photons detectors by developing of technological processes of large area combined detectors manufacturing based on scintillation inorganic layer optically coupled with organic or inorganic light guide layer which may contain luminescent dopants. Methods – mathematical simulation using Monte-Carlo method, powder X-ray diffraction method, methods of spectrofluorometry and X-ray fluorescence. Results – technological process of production of elements of gamma radiation combined detectors with size of input window from 1000 cm2 based on optically coupled inorganic and organic materials was proposed; further improvement of technological operations of production of counting gamma radiation combined detectors with size of input window from 1000 cm2; technological process of production of spectrometric gamma radiation combined detectors with size of input window from 1000 cm2 based on NaI:Tl single crystal plates and scintillation polystyrene was developed; technological process of production of alpha-beta combined detectors with size of input window up to 180 cm2 based on ZnSe:Al heterogeneous layers was improved.
