The dissertation is dedicated to solving problems of Increasing of longevity of knots of transmissions of agricultural technique by repair structural-technological methods of most material-consuming assemblies of agricultural machinery, namely, assemblies and units that contain base members with bearing housings: gear-boxes, transfer gear-boxes, back axles and etc. As a result of theoretical investigations, the pre-conditions in relation to estimation of longevity of work of assemblies "body-bearing body-bearing" were defined; conditions of machinability of a steel layer faced on hollow cast-iron parts using a single-edged cutting tool were substantiated; the change of geometrical sizes of hollow members in the process of electric arc surfacing was investigated; the minimum value of shrinkage that secures admittance on tooling of internal surfaces was calculated. There were obtained equations for substantiation of modes of restoring operations for parts with various structural descriptions of assemblies "body - bearing body - bearing"; mathematical models of process of surfacing of cast-iron parts of type "glass" that allow to forecast the size of shrinkage after an internal diameter, and hardness of faced layers depending on structural descriptions of parts and modes of their surfacing were developed, as a result of experimental investigations. The results of production verification and introduction of the technological process of repair of assemblies "body- bearing body - bearing" testify to efficiency of the given technology.
