Essay

The research is dedicated to the improvement of the tactics of management of pregnant women with the pathology of the thyroid gland by means of correction of iodine supply disorders and regulation of the function of the fetoplacental complex with the purpose of decrease of the perinatal morbidity. On the basis of the biochemical, hormonal, ultrsonograghy investigations, functioning of the mother-placenta-fetus system in pregnant women with the pathology of thyroid gland under conditions of the natural deficiency of iodine have been studied. Correlation of the thyroid status changes, iodine supply, metabolic indexes with the complications of the gestation process in different types of iodine prophylaxis have been determined. Efficiency of application of the nitrogen oxide donors coincidentally with iodine prophylaxis in treatment of prematurity has been proved. Proposed diagnostic-therapeutic measures increase the efficiency of prophylaxis and therapy of complications of the gestation process in pregnant women, permit to reduce the incidence of obstetric complications and perinatal morbidity.
