Bonyk V. The person's and the citizen's constitutional right to education and its ensuring in Ukraine

The thesis studies the person and the citizen constitutional right to education as well as mechanism of its legal ensuring. Different research practices are analyzed with focusing on various aspects of right to education as well as references of international and national law where such right is officially documented. There is the proposal to divide into periods the development of scientific thoughts and the process of legal regulation in Ukraine the person's and the citizen's constitutional right to education. The definition of the person and the citizen constitutional right to education is formulated with description of essence of its key features. The author's vision of content of person's and the citizen's constitutional right to education is presented. The ensuring mechanism of constitutional individual right to education is studied and explained with regard to role of public authorities in functioning of this mechanism. The need to improve activity of government and local authorities and officials is justified to ensure the person's and the citizen's constitutional right to education in Ukraine. On the basis of the study, summaries, proposals and recommendations are suggested for improvement of ensuring mechanism of the analyzed subjective right.
