Essay

The thesis deals with the problem of interactive teaching writing and its implementation in higher educational pedagogical establishments. The definition, the elaborated principles and the procedure of interactive teaching process are theoretically substantiated. Oral and written forms of interaction and the peculiarities of the three components of interactive teaching (teacher-student cooperation, students’ group/pair and independent work) were analyzed. It gave the grounds for designing a complex of exercises aiming at developing skills necessary for writing, editing and making corrections of texts with the help of questionnaires. The complex consists of four groups and teaches writing and analysing texts at the levels of organizing ideas, writing a draft, paragraphs and sentences and develops skills of peer analysis and peer assessment. The suggested methodology was verified and corroborated during the experimental teaching. Methodological recommendations as to organization and implementation of interactive teaching in the first year of studies were developed and practically applied in four higher educational establishments of Ukraine.
