The dissertation is devoted to research of specificity of author's self-knowledge in the stories M. Zoschenko. The reference to contexts of creativity, attempt of complete consideration of prose of the writer allows to change the relation to him only as to satirist. M. Zoschenko first of all writer-psychologist, and majorant of his creativity is self-knowledge. The urgency of the given research consists in the analysis and interpretation unknown of aspects of life and creativity of the writer showing about his aspiration to a finding of maximum senses of life, main of which - knowledge itself.
