Investigation objects: A.M.Nahimov's fiction legacy. Purpose: to give the complex analysis of Nahimov's creative work in the context of Russian literature, to value it with the position of our time. Methods: describing, social-genetic, comparative-historic, historic-functional and biographical. Theoretical and practical meaning is to give the systematic analysis of A.M.Nahimmov’s work. The results may be used by historians of the Russian literature. Firstly Nahimov’s creative work and his contribution to history of Russian literature become the object of the total study which is the new aspect of the dissertation. Sphere of application is the teaching courses of history of Russian literature of XVIII-XIX centuries.
