Essay

Dissertation concerns the clinical status peculiarities, state of central, peripheral and brain haemodynamics, cardiac and vascular remodelling, and also clinical efficacy of lacidipine in patients with different types of cerebral blood flow disturbance. It was established that clinical status peculiarities of patients with different types of cerebral blood flow disturbances is associated with cardiohaemidynamics, cerebral perfusion, "opening degree" of brachiocephalic arteries. Sensitivity and specificity of the total asymmetry of linear blood flow velocity index for the screening of brachiocephalic artery stenosis was essentially higher than absolute value of linear blood velocity in one arterial segment. Lacidipine has developed high antihypertensive efficacy, and also has shown positive influence on status of central, peripheral and cerebral haemodynamics.
